Women of The Cre8tors - KJ ROSE
What inspired you to pursue your career in the creative industry?
I was drawn to the art of expression at a very young age—whether it was watching my mom coach a cheerleading team to a championship or singing in choirs; cheering and dancing on pom-pom teams from the age of 7... it has all been rather divine and clear that my contributions would be most fruitful and transformative in the creative industry and beyond. What does being a woman in this industry mean to you?
Being a woman in the industry means perpetually advocating for women to tap into their unique star power and fully take up & own the spaces that never considered us. It means we don't wait to access the energy in the room—we bring our own... and then we change the room! Can you share a glimpse into your creative process—any rituals, inspirations, or must-have tools?
Prayer, power chants, and gospel music.Who are some women—past or present—who inspire your work?
My mom's leadership with her team and her role as an educator inspired my deep affinity to revolutionize confidence and empower others to identify and animate their potential. How do you hope your work impacts or inspires other women?
I hope my work impacts and inspires every woman to re-champion their story, resurrect their force, and reimagine themselves beyond their perceived capacity. I hope they never leave a win behind but harness it to create opportunities for other women. What’s a project or piece of work you’re most proud of, and why?
I'm proud to be an author of The Rose Effect: Eight Steps to Delivering the Performance of Your Life. This book has given me the opportunity to reconcile life choices & experiences I once perceived as losses, which I now embrace as a body of work that allows myself and others to self-accept, self-define, and self-motivate.
